What Happened

South Carolina Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed one person and injured two others on Hwy 521 in Lancaster County, SC on January 2nd, 2019. Police say the accident involved two vehicles, including a semi-truck. The accident occurred when the semi-truck was rear-ended while reversing into a private drive. The driver of the other vehicle was killed. Two passengers were hospitalized with injuries. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
