What Happened

State Police are investigating a collision that killed a person at I-95 in Jasper County, SC on August 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Rogue headed southbound is said to have collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer for unknown reasons. The tractor-trailer involved reportedly did not stop after the collision. The driver of the Nissan suffered fatal injuries while three passengers were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
