What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that inured a passenger at I-35 in Waco, TX on November 6th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:45 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda Civic operated by 23-year-old Gonzalo Diaz Tinoco was traveling southbound before it crashed into a concrete median. It then traveled across multiple lanes before colliding into a retaining wall. The collision left 25-year-old passenger, Adali Landa, with serious. Diaz Tinoco was also seriously injured, according to police. Due to suspicion of alcohol involvement in the crash, officers recommended an Intoxication Assault with Open Container charge.
