What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at Westheimer Rd in Houston, TX on September 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:33 p.m. According  to investigators, a Toyota Camry was headed southbound on Sage Rd before making a left tun onto Westheimer Rd. Officials allege the vehicle to failed to yield in the process before striking a pedestrian in a crosswalk. The pedestrian, identified as 53-year-old Andres Mancera, suffered serious injuries in the collision, reports indicate. Sources also indicate a Failure to Stop and Render Aid charge was recommended and/or issued.
