What Happened

Local authorities are investigating a crash at Brookgreen Dr in Dallas, TX on July 3rd, 2023 that left at least two people injured. Police believe it happened around 1:44 p.m. Investigators say a Ford F-250 operated by 56-year-old Jose Hernandez was headed westbound from a private road in a left lane. At the same time, a Ford F-150 was parked in a left lane while a Honda Civic was parked ahead of it. Its occupants were outside the vehicle, working to change a flat tire on the Honda as the F-250 approached. Police allege it struck the other Fort before striking the Honda, which was pushed into 31-year-old Angel Gavarrete Rivera, one of the the individuals outside of the two vehicles. Rivera was seriously injured, according to police while Hernandez had minor injuries. Right now, additional information has not been provided.
