What Happened

Midland Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at West Loop 250 in Midland, TX on October 18th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. A Jeep Gladiator operated by Stefano Scarmana was headed eastbound on Loop 250 when it drove over a curb and struck a guardrail. It then overturned and a passenger, 57-year-old Angela Wrinkle died at the scene. Scarmana, who police say was intoxicated, was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries and charged with Intoxication Manslaughter.
