What Happened

University of Texas Police are investigating a fatal Capital Metro bus accident on San Jacinto Blvd on January 28th, 2019 in Austin, TX. Officials say a cyclist was travelling in the same direction as the bus when somehow they were struck. The cyclist, 39-year-old Anthony John Diaz, was pronounced dead at the scene. Eight passengers aboard the bus at the time were not injured.
