What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at FM 1781 in Aransas County, TX on January 1st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:50 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota 4Runner operated by 31-year-old Ryan Feikls was traveling northbound on FM 1781 when it veered from the road at a cure. It truck a toad sign before hitting a tree and going into a rollover. The vehicle hit a second sign in the process before coming to a stop. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 31-year-old Andra Bacon, suffered serious injuries. Feikls was also seriously injured. Officers allege suspicion of possible alcohol involvement in the crash.
