What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at Sam Houston Pkwy in Houston, TX on April 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Equinox operated by a 22-year-old Houston man was headed northbound before allegedly performing an unsafe lane change. It then collided with a Lexus ES operated by 40-year-old Bahram Kylyjov. The impact caused the Lexus to lose control and crash into a barrier wall, leaving a passenger in the vehicle with serious injuries. Kylyjov had less serious injuries while the other driver was not injured. Authorities recommended and/or issued a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
