Police say the incident happened around 12:40 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet 3500HD operated by a 39-year-old Post man was headed westbound on Cottonwood Rd. Authorities allege the vehicle missed a stop sign before colliding with a Chevrolet Tahoe operated by 39-year-old Carlos Ignacio Barbosa. The collision left Barbosa, two child passengers and 50-year-old Griselda Cruz Ibarra, with serious injuries. The Post man was not injured and authorities recommended a Disregarding Stop Sign citation.
