What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at State Hwy 29 in Llano County, TX on March 30th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4:37 p.m. According to investigators, a delivery van is alleged to have failed to yield during a right turn, crossing into the path of an approaching westbound motorcycle. Reports say the vehicles collided, the impact leaving 50-year-old Charles Copher, fatally injured. A 47-year-old passenger on the motorcycle, who was not publicly identified, had non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly uninjured and charged with Turning When Unsafe.
