Police say the incident happened around 10:24 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 headed northbound is allegedly to have failed to yield before proceeding into the path of an approaching westbound Honda CR-V. Reports indicate a 9-year-old passenger in the Honda was seriously injured while the driver was uninjured. Sources say the Ford fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
