What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a child at Ranchester Dr and Bellaire Blvd in Houston, TX on May 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. According to investigators, a passenger vehicle was reversing in the parking lot of an apartment complex when it collided with a 2-year-old child. Police say the vehicle fled the scene but later located the driver and placed the individual under arrest. The child was taken to an area hospital with injuries he died from.
