What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured several people at FM 1426 in Edinburg, TX on December 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:39 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 operated by 68-year-old Noe Maldonado was headed northbound prior to colliding the rear of a Plymouth Van. Several occupants of the van, including children, suffered injuries. Maldonado was not injured and officers recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge.
