What Happened

Authorities have identified the people killed in a crash at US 87 in Lubbock, TX on April 14th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. Police say a Dodge Ram was headed northbound in the southbound lanes before colliding with a southbound Toyota passenger car. The drivers of both vehicles, including 23-year-old Toyota operator, Marcos Noyola Castanon and 33-year-old Dodge operator, Christina Elaine Castro, were both killed.
