What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Judson Rd in Live Oak, TX on January 16th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:53 p.m. Investigators are saying a three-wheel motorcycle operated by 40-year-old Christopher Watson was headed eastbound before it lost control. They believe the vehicle went into a skid and hit a curb, causing it to travel into a ditch. From there, the vehicle ended up striking an electrical pole before coming to rest after crashing into a sign for a nearby residential neighborhood. The crash left Watson with fatal injuries and his 22-year-old female passenger with serious injuries. Additional details were not available.
