What Happened

Authorities named 39-year-old Cipriano Penaloza as the person killed in a two-vehicle crash at Mount Houston Rd in Harris County, TX on December 15th, 2022. Police say it happened around 11:19 p.m. Authorities believe a Ford F-150 operated by 37-year-old Louetta woman was headed westbound. Penaloza's Honda Accord was allegedly involved in an earlier crash and leaving southbound. As the Ford proceeded into an intersection on a green light, the Honda is said to have run the light and collided with the Ford. The impact left Penaloza with fatal injuries at the scene. The Louetta woman was evaluated for possible injuries. Police dd not have additional information to share.
