What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that injured three people at FM 1960 in Harris County, TX on March 24th, 2024. Officials say the incident happened around 3:46 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Cherokee is said to have collided with the rear of a westbound Kia Sorrento which was in the process of braking ahead. The impact is said to have caused the Kia to lose control and overturn into a nearby wooded area. The driver of the Kia, identified as 40-year-old Claudia Guevara Barrios, was seriously injured, reports say. The other driver was not publicly identified and allegedly suffered minor injuries while his 2-year-old passenger was more seriously injured. Additional information was not available.
