Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 183 in Goliad County, TX on March 24th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:42 a.m. According to investigators, a Kenworth truck operated by a 42-year-old Victoria man was headed northbound before allegedly missing an intended turn. The truck was slowing into a right shoulder to perform a u-turn. Officers allege the truck performed the u-turn when unsafe to do so, traveling into the path of an approaching Kia Rio operated by 32-year-old Cody Alan Martinez. The vehicles collided, leaving Martinez with suspected serious injuries. The Victoria man was not injured, according to police. Additional information was not available.
