Area authorities are investigating a collision that injured a construction worker at I-10 in Chambers County, TX on July 25th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:24 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer was eastbound, traveling as part of a construction crew performing road work. Officials say the truck failed to control its speed and struck a GMC truck stopped with a crash attenuator. The impact pushed it not an additional vehicle across a right lane into a ditch. A 53-year-old Liberty man involved in the incident suffered suspected serious injuries while the driver of the tractor-trailer had less serious injuries, according to police.
