Police say the incident happened around 5:38 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Fiesta headed westbound before colliding with a Ford Escape exiting a parking lot at University Dr. Authorities say the driver of the Escape, identified as 27-year-old Dalton Woods, was seriously injured.
