What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured its driver at County Rd 35 in Smith County, TX on February 11th, 2023. Police are saying it happened around 12:37 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 22-year-old operated by Damien Bryant was going northbound on County Rd 35 when it veered from the road for unknown reasons. The vehicle began to travel into an east ditch, causing it to begin to correct back onto the road. It then went into a skid and traveled into a west ditch where it crashed into a tree.
