What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that inured a person at US 67 in Alvarado, TX on August 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:15 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-350 operated by 48-year-old David Ellison was headed eastbound on Hwy 67 before it veered right in order to avoid colliding with vehicles ahead stopped at a red light. It then spun into a grass median and hit a drainage control device, causing it to overturn. Ellison suffered serious injuries in the crash. Additional information was not immediately available.
