What Happened

Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed a woman at FM 2610 in Polk County, TX on January 18th, 2023. Officials say it happened around 11:25 a.m. According to investigators, a Honda Civic operated by 66-year-old Debra Dee Miller was headed southbound on FM 2610. Officers allege the vehicle veered into the northbound lanes for unknown reasons before crashing head-on into an approaching tractor-trailer. The collision left Miller with fatal injuries. The truck driver, identified was 58-year-old John Bazzooon, had minor injuries. Authorities have not offered additional information.
