What Happened

Authorities have information on a two-vehicle crash at San Jacinto St in Houston, TX on March 31st, 2024. Police believe it took place around 2:35 a.m. According to investigators, a Kia K5was eastbound on Jefferson St while an Infiniti Qx60 was northbound on San Jacinto St at the time. Police allege the Kia ran a red light at the intersection before colliding with the Infiniti, the impact causing the Infiniti to overturn. Following the collision, police further allege the Kia fled the scene. The driver of the Infiniti, identified as 23-year-old Devin Ng, is said to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries while a 23-year-old passenger, who was not publicly identified, was more seriously injured. An additional passenger had possible, unconfirmed injuries. The driver of the Kia was later located, reports say, and allegedly charged with DWI. Additional information was not available.
