What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 1929 in Concho County, TX on February 24th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:32 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra K2500 operated by 69-year-old Eddie Day was headed eastbound on FM 1929 when it lost control at a curve in the road. It traveled into a south ditch and, in the process of trying to return to the road, it veered into a a north barrow ditch and overturned. Day was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Additional information was not available.
