What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a pedestrian at Big Spring St in Midland, TX on August 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:35 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Monte Carlo operated by 21-year-old Sage Keeny was reportedly reversing in an alleged unsafe manner in a bar parking lot before striking an individual standing behind the vehicle and between another vehicle. The pedestrian, identified as 43-year-old Edward Hernandez Jr, suffered serious injuries. Officers recommended and/or issued an Intoxicated Assault charge.
