What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at Hwy 90 in Houston, TX on March 31st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:15 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Uplander operated by 21-year-old Fabian Correa was headed eastbound on Hwy 90. As it traveled, a commercial truck operated by a 51-year-old Memphis, TN man was entered the highway from a private driveway and was attempting to turn westbound into a driveway. It ended up colliding with the Chevrolet, leaving both Correa and a passenger, 20-year-old Gabriel Baeza, with fatal injuries. The Memphis man was not injured, according to police.
