What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-10 in Baytown, TX on October 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. According to investigators, Dodge Dart operated by 29-year-old Felix Gomez II was taking the eastbound exit to Sjolander Rd. It allegedly crossed solid white lines and hit a jersey wall before overturning. The incident left Gomez with serious injuries that he later died from. Authorities did not have additional information to share.
