What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured four people at FM 1488 and Kickapoo Rd Waller, TX on September 26th, 2022. Police say the incident involved a school bus for Waller ISD colliding head-on with an 18-wheeler as the bus was turning left onto Kickapoo Rd. The 18-wheeler is said to have turned into the lane of the bus prior to the collision. Four of the 28 students aboard were hospitalized for minor injuries. The driver of the bus was uninjured and investigators say also not at fault. Additional information was not available.
