What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person and injured another at I-30 and US 259 in Morris County, TX on August 11th, 2020. Officials say the incident happened around 7:52 a.m. A vehicle operated by 43-year-old Todd Wright reportedly lost control and went into a body of water under unclear circumstances. A passenger, 69-year-old Francis Applegate, died at the scene. Wright suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
