Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-35 in Georgetown, TX on October 7th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:57 p.m. Investigators believe a bus traveling northbound in a left lane of travel failed to yield after pulling away from stop sign at the intersection with FM 972 before colliding with a Ford van operated by 72-year-old Franklyne Ray Cox. Cox was seriously injured in the collision. Police say there were about 49 people aboard the bus and there were no reported injuries with the driver or passengers.
