What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-45 in Harris County, TX on April 13th, 2024. Police say the incident happened 6:20 p.m. According to investigators, an Acura TSX was northbound on I-45 before allegedly taking an incorrect express lane exit, striking a control gate and sign before entering into oncoming traffic. There, authorizes say the vehicle collided with an Infiniti QX80 operated by 46-year-old Gavin Taylor. Reports indicate Taylor and an 11-year-old passenger were both seriously injured while a 41-year-old passenger had possible, unconfirmed injuries. The driver of the Acura was not publicly identified and allegedly seriously injured.
