What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a passenger and injured two drivers on FM 935 in Troy, TX on January 28th, 2020. Officials say the incident involved a Nissan pickup truck operated by 25-year-old Colby Eugene Collier reportedly crossed a double yellow line and veered into the path of Chevy pickup truck operated by 28-year-old Samantha Jo Allen. The two vehicles collided, killing a passenger, 63-year-old George Weldon Collier, on impact. Allen and Colby Collier were both hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
