What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-35 in Schertz, TX on December 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:59 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Kicks operated by 28-year-old Guadalupe Campos was headed northbound when it collided with the rear of a GMC Sierra stopped at a red light. Investigators say defective braked may have played a factor in the crash, which left Campos with injuries believed to be serious. The driver of the GMC, a 65-year-old Elmendorf man, was evaluated for possible injuries.
