What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Amman Rd in Comal County, TX on February 24th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:55 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Sequoia operated by 45-year-old James Heye Jr was headed southbound on Hidden Oaks driver prior to losing control. The vehicle first veered into a west ditch and, while attempting to correct back onto the road, went into a skid. It then overturned several times, ejecting Heye from the vehicle and leaving him with fatal injuries. Police do not have any additional information to disclose at this time.
