What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at US 180 in Weatherford, TX on February 1st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4:34 p.m. Reports indicate a Nissan Kicks was northbound on Jack Borden Way before proceeding through an intersection with US 180, allegedly through a red traffic signal. There, officials say the vehicle collided with a Ford F-350 that allegedly had a green left turn arrow and was in the process of performing a left turn. The collision is said to have seriously injured the occupants of the Nissan, identified as 49-year-old driver, James Huggins and 54-year-old passenger, Pamela Huggins. A third occupant, who was not publicly identified, was also seriously injured, reports say. Reports also say the driver of the Ford was uninjured. Additional information was not available.
