Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 243 in Kaufman County, TX on July 27th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. According to investigators, a Buick Encore operated by 37-year-old Jana Morgan is believed to have been headed eastbound before veering from the road for unclear reasons. The vehicle is believed to have first struck a culvert, vaulting over a pasture and overturning in the process into a nearby barrow ditch.
