What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that injured four people at Main St in Gun Barrel City, TX on April 6th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:13 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Camaro allegedly turned left from a center, unprotected turn lane ahead of an eastbound Ford Explorer. The two vehicles collided in the process, the collision seriously injuring both a 17-year-old passenger in the Camaro and the 70-year-old driver of the Ford, identified as Janet Hash. Authorities say a 10-year-old passenger in the Ford and the 17-year-old driver of the Camaro both had non-life-threatening injuries. Additional information was not provided.
