What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 281 in San Antonio, TX on April 14th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:50 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck is alleged to have turned left into the path of an approaching Ford F-150, which in turn was forced to perform an evasive maneuver in an effort to avoid a collision. The Ford collided with a yield sign in the process before coming to rest after staking a bridge wall. The driver of the Ford, identified as 21-year-old John Anthony Hidalgo, was seriously injured, reports say. Additional information was not available.
