What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials named the people involved with a crash that killed a man at US 190 in Polk County, TX on November 11th, 2019. Officials say the incident happened around 8:40 a.m. A vehicle driven by 22-year-old Karl Fink reportedly veered into the shoulder and collided with a disabled pickup truck. A pedestrian standing near the disabled truck, 35-year-old Jonathan Reid, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other pedestrian, 65-year-old Carl Reid Jr was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries along with Fink.
