What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at New Sulphur Springs in San Antonio, TX on July 22nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:24 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 23-year-old Juan Cazares was northbound on New Sulphur Springs at the time. Reports say the vehicle was approaching a curve in the roadway before drifting a from the roadway and crashing into an embankment. This is said to have caused the vehicle to travel airborne before it overturned upon landing. The vehicle caught fire, reports say, leaving Cazares with fatal injuries at the scene.
