What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two drivers at Court St in Seguin, TX on January 23rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:56 p.m. According to investigators, a Mercury Grand Marquis operated by a 55-year-old New Braunfels man was headed eastbound on County St at an alleged high rate of speed. Officers say the vehicle allegedly ran a red light and collided with a Chevrolet C1500 they believe had right-of-way operated by 19-year-old Julius Orozco. Orozco suffered minor injuries while the other driver was more seriously injured. Officers recommended and/or issued a DWI charge against the New Braunfels man.
