What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at State 87 in Newton County, TX on April 17th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3;34 a.m. Authorities say an ATV headed northbound on Hwy 87 was rounding curve while in a southbound lane before colliding head-on with a southbound Nissan Versa. The collision caused the ATV operator to be ejected from the vehicle. The operator, identified as 21-year-old Kaleb Harvey, was fatally injured in the accident.
