What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash involved multiple vehicles at I-635 in Mesquite, TX on April 3rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:10 p.m. Investigators say a Mack truck operated by 59-year-old Richardson man was headed southbound on I-635 before allegedly failing to control its speed and colliding with a second truck operated by a 64-year-old Kaufman man. The collision caused the second truck to collide with the rear of a Lexus RX 330 operated by 54-year-old Keith Lowe. Lowe was seriously injured in the collision. The other two drivers had minor injuries, according to police. Additional information was not provided.
