What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at Legacy Dr in Plano, TX on April 5th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:36 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Tucson was northbound on Legacy Dr before taking evasive accident to avoid a wrong-way vehicle allegedly evading police. That vehicle, a motorcycle allegedly operated by 22-year-old Kelvin Cruz, lost control in the process, Cruz falling from the vehicle and striking the Hyundai. Reports indicate Cruz was fatally injured in the incident while the Hyundai operator was allegedly injured. Additional information was not available.
