Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 2978 in Montgomery County, TX on September 7th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:10 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by 43-year-old Kristi Kelly was headed northbound on FM 2978 when it veered from the road before hitting a large sign and overturning multiple times. The vehicle rolled through fences before coming to rest in a field, leaving Kelly with serious injuries. Officers recommended and/or issued a DWI charge.
