What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-20 in Grand Prairie, TX on March 5th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:20 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Tahoe was eastbound prior to allegedly failing to control its speed and colliding with a motorcycle and two other vehicles stopped at a red light. The operator of the motorcycle, identified as 58-year-old Lisa Mickels, was seriously injured, reports say. The other two drivers, who were not publicly identified, were allegedly uninjured. Reports allege the driver of the Tahoe, also not injured and not publicly identified, was intoxicated at the time of the collision.
