What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 287 in Rhome, TX on December 1st, 2022 on December 1st, 2022. Police are saying it happened around 6 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Sonata operated by 61-year-old Lori Gow was traveling northbound on US Hwy 287 approaching the intersection with County Rd 4840. As it did, police say it failed to yield and collided with an a tractor-trailer headed southbound as the Hyundai turned eastbound. The collision left Gow with serious injuries and the other driver, an unnamed 56-year-old San Jose man, uninjured. Additional information was not available.
