What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured several people at General McMullen in San Antonio, TX on April 9th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:29 a.m. According to investigators, a Mazda Tribute operated by Lucy Hernandez Gamboa was attempting to cross onto northbound General McMullen when it was struck by a Ford Taurus operated by a 23-year-old male who was not identified. Gamboa and three of her passengers had injuries believed to be serious while another occupant had less serious injuries. The other driver was not injured and officers recommend and/or issued a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
